Mountain of the Sleeping Giant

A bus can take you to this amazing place for about 3$ return and then you pay 5$ to access the area. If you take a tour, it will cost you 80$ and you may not have enough time to relax! A taxi can get your there for 50$ return.

One or two local children will guide you to the mud pool and hot springs.

This is a bit of an adventure as these pools are digged right into the ground. It's totally natural, there are no restaurants, no concrete pathway, no infrastructures except for a shower/toilet.

It's family owned and was discovered by the grand parents. You are in the middle of the sugar canes fields (ask a child to cut you some sugarcane to chew).

The last local bus comes at 4pm. Don't listen to much to the child if he's pressuring you to get ready half an hour before. The bus is always late.

Bring your own food as there are no restaurants. Bring an egg and see it being cooked in the boiling waters :-)
